We certify that we have carefully examined this applciant, who states that he is now pensioned at 1/2 disability on account of GSW left side, affecting left lung. Also diseases of kidney and liver, and liver, and he claims an increased rating for the reason that actual inc, and that he is disabled to 1/2 degree for earning his subsistence by manual labor.

Pulse Rate/minute: 72
Respiration: 17
Temperature: normal
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 128 pounds
Age: 43

Dailinger thinks he has lung disease because breathing catches his left side. Kidney disease because urine is red with burning, and liver disease because pain is in left side and doctors tell him he has liver disease. Never had syphilis.

Upon examination, he is entitled to an increased pension. No evidence of lung, kidney or liver disease. Can detect deformity of ribs. Suffers from neuralgic pains. Has a very irritable heart. Is under weight and all his trouble seems to be from GSW and disease of heart.

He is entitle to a 1/2 rating for disability caused by GSW left side. Total for that cause by heart disease as a result and 0 caused by disease of kidneys, lungs and liver, the sum of which aggregates 12/18.
