We certify that we have carefully examined John Dailinger, who was a Private in Co. K, 29th Regiment NY Volunteers in service for the United States, who is an applicant for an invalid pension by reason of alleged disability resulting from GSW left side.

John Dailinger is one half incapacitated for earning his subsistence by manual labor from the cause above stated.

Judging by his present condition and from evidence before us, his disability did originate in the service aforesaid in the line of duty.

The disability is permanent.

Bullet entered left side on tenth rib fracturing it and passing forward, coming out on left coastal cartilage 2 inches from sternum. Suffers from Pleurontic adhesions, complains of cutting pain at times. Heart slightly irritable.
